Mail Sentinel is designed with privacy as its core principle. This policy explains how we handle your data - or more accurately, how we don't collect it.
We do not collect any data. Mail Sentinel operates 100% locally on your Mac. Here's what that means:
Mail Sentinel reads your local Apple Mail database stored on your Mac. All processing happens entirely on your device. The application does not require an internet connection to function after installation.
Any scan results or exported data are stored locally on your computer in locations you choose. We never transmit, store, or have access to this data.
Mail Sentinel does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services. The only external connection is for optional software updates, which contain no personal data.
Mail Sentinel requires Full Disk Access permission to read your Apple Mail data. This permission is used solely to scan your email content locally. This data never leaves your Mac.
Payments are processed through PayPal. We do not have access to your payment details. Please refer to PayPal's privacy policy for information about how they handle your payment data.
Mail Sentinel is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
